IDT is an internationally recognized partner for researching and combating rabies in wild and domestic animals. For instance, valuable knowledge has been gained regarding rabies infections in dogs, raccoon dogs and bats which has led to international progress in the fighting of this dangerous and contagious disease.

Animal HealthVaccines for pigs and poultry and vaccines against rabies belong to our most important export products. IDT's products are used in almost all EU countries and in many other regions worldwide. The amount exported is more than 20 %. In this regard, IDT is participating for the long-term in a growth market with good future prospects. In terms of an international network for cooperative research, IDT has been able to form excellent contacts to leading research institutions in western and eastern Europe. Human VaccinesThe business area involving human vaccines is also connected with global activity. Numerous foreign firms, primarily in Europe, the U.S., | and Australia work together with IDT. We produce clinical test batches for more than 20 international partners, including universities, biotechnological businesses and internationally active pharmaceutical businesses. PharmaceuticalsIn this area of our business, multiple cooperative projects are in progress with national and international contract givers, in particular from Europe, Asia, and the U.S. The main focus of the cooperation is the development and manufacture of high-quality drug products for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. |
